Students going on the field trip with Mr. Albers today will be released over a PA announcement at approximately 8:25.

 

Exam forms are due TODAY to the HS Office. Every student in grades 9-11 must turn in a form!

 

7th period choir class needs to report to the band room today.

There is a 2 hour early dismissal today to allow students and staff to attend the Varsity Softball District Semi-Final game at 4:00 at Lima Bath High School and/or the Varsity Baseball Sectional game at 5:00 at New Bremen High School.

THIS WEEK

The last FCA gathering of the school year is tomorrow morning at 7:15 in the Community Room. A special breakfast will be served for our graduating senior members. FCA welcomes all students in grades 7-12.

 

Senior Awards Night is Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Auditorium. Seniors who are receiving an academic award, athletic award and/or scholarship were mailed invitations. Stop by the HS Office if you have any questions or wish to verify that you are to attend.


SENIORS

ALL library books, textbooks, and other school issued items MUST be turned in and all book fees and lunch accounts must be paid in full BEFORE  Friday. If these items are not taken care, you cannot participate in graduation ceremonies nor will you receive your diploma. 

If you wish to keep your files from your school Google account, you will need to export them before July. Instructions on how to do this have been emailed to you. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gudorf or stop by the HS Office.  


Blue trash barrels will be placed in the senior hallway for SENIORS ONLY to begin cleaning out lockers and backpacks. Make sure your lockers are cleaned out and all pictures and magnets on the outside of your locker are removed.


Friday looks like this:

11:15 - Lunch provided in the Community Room

11:45 - Senior picture at the football field

12:00 - 3:00 - Graduation rehearsal in the HS Gymnasium. This is MANDATORY! If you

        do not attend, you will not be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremonies

        on Sunday. 


Graduation is on Sunday at 1:30. Doors will open at 12:00. Please review the dress code for graduation that was mailed and emailed to you. Look Sharp!  Be proud and represent yourself with pride for your accomplishment!

 

NEXT WEEK

Exams for students in grades 9-11 will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. Items to remember: You are not required to report to school until your first scheduled exam; however, study hall will be available if you ride a bus or need study time. If you are late for your exam, you WILL NOT be permitted to take your exam during your scheduled exam time. You will need to take it during the make-up time slot.

SPORTS

After school weight lifting is done for the school year. The weight room will not be open to students who are not there with a coach.

 

All JV softball players need to turn in their jerseys to Coach Stover by this Friday. 

 

All freshman, sophomore, and junior softball players need to stop in Coach Stover's room by Friday to sign up for our summer softball dates.

 

The Varsity Baseball Team lost a hard fought game against Celina, 2-1. Devon Crouch went the distance on the mound, throwing 7 innings allowing 2 unearned runs on just 4 hits. Jacoby Triplett, Braxton Ford, Caiden Berry and Xavier Samples each collected a hit.

  • Varsity Softball District Semi-Final vs Van Buren at Lima Bath at 4:00

  • Varsity Baseball Sectional Semi-Final vs New Bremen at New Bremen at 5:00

Tickets may be purchased at the gate or online. Student tickets are $5 and adult tickets are $8. Online tickets can be purchased at: https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets Select Baseball / Division IV then look for Parkway. 

 

 

The Varsity Boys and Girls Track District Meet will be at Spencerville on Wednesday and Friday. There is separate admission for each day. Admission can be paid with cash at the gate or tickets can be purchased at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets  Select Track / Division III / Spencerville. There are tickets for May 15 and May 17. Prices are $8 adults and $5 students.
